The Prince George's County Police Department Law Enforcement Exploring Program is an exciting work based training program for young men and women who are interested in careers in law enforcement and public safety. The Prince George’s County Police Department, along with the Learning For Life Foundation and the Boy Scouts of America, have come together to provide a youth program designed to promote citizenship, build character, and develop physical and mental fitness. The Explorer Program was established in 1976, serving young men and women throughout Prince George’s County with Explorer Posts in each of our police patrol divisions.
The Prince George's Police Law Enforcement Exploring Program is geared towards young men and women, ages 14 - 21 years old.
The Prince George's Law Enforcement Exploring Club Program is geared towards youth, ages 11 - 14 years old.
